Solar Installation in Mabopane

01 / Process

The solar installation process

A proper solar installation starts with understanding how much power you actually use. Reyds begins with a site assessment — roof orientation, shading, available space and your daily consumption — before recommending a system size or quoting a price.

From there we design the system, source panels, inverter and batteries, mount and wire everything to SANS electrical standards, and commission the installation with a full handover so you know how to read your inverter and what to expect from your system.

• —Site assessment, roof check and shading survey
• —System sizing based on your actual usage and budget
• —Panel, inverter and lithium battery selection
• —Mounting, wiring and SANS-compliant electrical work
• —Commissioning, performance check and customer handover

02 / Sizing

What affects your system size and cost

No two Mabopane homes need the same system. The right size depends on how much energy you use, what you want to keep running through load shedding, your roof space and orientation, and whether you want to expand later.

We size honestly — not oversized to inflate the quote, and not undersized so you're left short. A system that covers your daytime base load with a modest battery for evening backup often gives the best payback.

• —Your monthly kWh usage and peak demand
• —Roof area, orientation and shading through the day
• —Backup needs — essentials only or the whole house
• —Budget and room for future expansion
